Raspberry Pi high-voltage motor control?

I was wondering what how it would be possible to control a drivebase with a Raspberry Pi. Our current design is using 2 NeveRest 60 motors (https://www.andymark.com/NeveRest-60-Gearmotor-p/am-3103.htm), and we were looking into using a Raspberry Pi to control our drivebase (instead of a REV hub or other usual competitive robot microcontrollers). I was wondering if anyone had some insight on how to connect these motors to a raspberry PI safely?
