Is the springer handbook of robotics any good?

I have intermediate knowledge of linear algebra, statistics and probability, i know python (very efficiently) and C, i have took 3 courses in machine learning over the summer. i have built basic arduino and raspberry pi home robots (mostly useless but one picks up garbage from the floor, so there’s that).

And now i want to know how far this book can get me and what exactly will i learn from it.

As for my goal, it is to build a robot that does cooking and cleaning and dusting and all the stupid shit for me but that’s just a start.

I have tried googling but really no reviews show up, yet it is highly recommended.
