Not sure if this is the place to ask, but I’ll give it a shot.
I am looking for a tool for an industrial fastener robot.
I was told that a company like atlas copco or someone similar makes a socket that can rotate counter clockwise to open the size of the socket to allow tolerance in finding a bolt head, then close once the bolt head is found, and rotate to either fasten or remove said bolt.
I’ve been looking all over and can’t find anything like this.
Have any of you heard of, or know of something like this?
Just to be clear I am not talking about a gator grip socket. Though the principle is the same, one socket that could fit multiple size bolts, the mechanism is different for the sizing.
Sorry for shitty format, I’m on mobile.
Thanks in advance for any help.
