Hey folks! So here’s the rub, I want to build a tracked robot but need advise on a thermal imaging camera. There’s one from adafruit that can read, or recognize, something 7 meters away, but I was hoping to have something with a better display capability and range.
Here’s where it gets tricky, for me anyway.
I want to do it on the cheap and Seek has a pretty awesome camera that plugs into either an iPhone of android device. Is there any way to incorporate that into the robot and transmit the signal a greater distance than wifi somehow. Or, if I went with the Panasonic thermal sensor is there a way to transmit the signal via 5.8ghz as you would with a FPV setup for a model airplane?
Thanks in advance
