Good day Ladies and Gents,
I’m currently doing an internship with a company that was nice enough to hire me.
One of my tasks here is to get a car-like robot moving from point a to b ending in a desired orientation in an open and obstacle free environment.
My background is mainly controls so I have had no exposure to AI algorithms like A* and such.
Is this problem achievable in the controls paradigm? Like an optimal control problem with kinematics, constraints and cost functions? Id rather like to avoid AI as much as possible thanks given I have very little time to get this done.
