I want to be able to use a typical brushless/outrunner motor with an 8mm typical 3D printing lead screw, but have not found an appropriate go-between yet. There are a few BLDC motors that use 5mm Nema-like shafts, but most have 3.17mm shafts designed for props. Is there a good way to couple the 3mm shaft to the lead screw? I have seen a few direct links between them, but no reviews or feedback so I don’t know if they work properly. I was wondering if there is a good solution/set of couplers to attach the motor shaft to the lead screw. Thanks!
