ROS-compatible cheap, (almost) ready to go manipulator arms

I’m looking for a way to teach control algorithms at a relatively low budget. What I’d like to do is show how you can program some algorithms, but not having to program everything, hence the need to use ROS. My goal is to replicate an easy version of the Picking challenge, as a final project. Are there any manipulator arms (preferable 6 DOF) that I can get close to $200? Most arms mentioned in the ROS page seem to be industrial or have to be 3D printed out and constructed (which isn’t ideal for an algorithms course). If this is not possible still it is good to know to make a case for funding.
