Why do some people say geared servos are not responsive enough for a dynamic humanoid?

Geared servos can be really fast and responsive if they are set up correctly for the job. I see articles on the internet that suggest hydraulics or pneumatics are better for a dynamic machine. But I’m convinced that servos are also good for the job. Boston Dynamics experiments with hydraulics and servos I believe. Spot Mini is it? That little guy looks very fluid and dynamic and I heard that it’s all electromechanical.
