I’ve dealt with every shitty machine available and none of them can come close to a human with a pair of scissors. I’ve seen the video of Bloom Automation’s cnc lathe connected to a machine vision deep learning system. I think a cnc laser with a robotic hand would be able to quickly do the job, or a hand and scissors. What would it take to frankenstein this into existence and have it work reliably? I don’t care if I have to buy a deep learning rig, the labor for my upcoming harvest is going to cost $145k and I’d rather get this automation up and running before outsourcing becomes an option for my competitors.
