So this past semester, I’ve been applying to Robotics MS programs in USA. I’ve been admitted to both the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and the University of Pennsylvania (2 year MS in Robotics for both); assuming cost isn’t a factor, what are the prime distinctions between these schools’ programs? My main concerns are research opportunities and future job opportunities, as from what I can tell both programs are definitely on par in terms of diversity of coursework. Also, which school is more prestigious/sought after? I wasn’t able to get a clear answer going through existing forum posts and official rankings, and would love to talk to a current/prior student at either program or even someone who is knowledgeable about both.
