Are there hobby robot arms that can be taught move by manually moving robot?


Have you seen any hobby level projects where robot arm can be taught move by moving arm, not dials, screen controls, or external small replica of robot arm?

I was thinking this should be possible with Mechaduino by making it apply minimal torque to keep arm stationary. Is there any other stepper servo controller capable of doing it? Or is there any other hobby level driver that can do “gravity cancelling” or teaching robot by moving robot?
