Hi everyone. I am a high school student who has no career plan or specific goals in the future. Every day, I simply lie around and play games but time is slowly ticking and I have to start thinking about my future.
All my life, I’ve been obsessed with robots such as Transformers and such. I’ve always been so fascinated by the idea and I still think it’s one of the coolest things ever. As a kid, I’ve always imagined designs and made up things in my head as to how I could actually build one. Although, most of the ideas are all just imagination, with no actual real factors accounted for how robotics work in this day and age.
I watch all these movies and see people creating things that I never could have thought of and I simply feel like I want to be a part of something bigger. I don’t have goals such as building the first iron man suit or anything, but I just want to start somewhere at least. How can I learn about robotics and make the things that other people can? Can anyone give me a place to start or somewhere that I can be taught robotics?
Or for those of you who have already been a part of projects such as making your own remote controlled car or anything like that; where did you start and how did you get the skills to do that today?
