sorry for any formatting errors this is my first post on reddit.
I’m looking at going into a career designing medical robotics, the idea to me seems amazing. I’d one day want to end up designing things like an advanced robotic prosthetic arm, leg, etc. I’d be most interested in developing the prosthetic itself, drafting and building the arm/leg piece by piece based on a design I create with the help of others on a team.
I’m just wondering what courses I should take in university, should I go into mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or anything else. I also would just like to know what types of places involve this kind of work. I’m having trouble finding consistent information about the programs necessary for this type of career, any help or suggestions would be great!
(I’m canadian if that changes anything)
